Description

The Solution Consultant at Nimble is a strategic technical advisor who bridges customer challenges with transformative solutions. You'll combine technical expertise in APIs, Python, and web data with exceptional business acumen to position Nimble as essential for AI-driven enterprises. Working across the customer lifecycle, from pre-sales discovery through POCs, you'll architect tailored solutions and drive measurable outcomes.

The role is SF-based. 5 days a week in the office

This role reports to the Director of Solution Consulting, and the expected OTE compensation for this position is $200k - $250k

Responsibilities
  • Lead consultative discovery sessions to understand customer business challenges, technical architecture, and strategic objectives
  • Architect and present custom solutions that translate technical concepts into business value for stakeholders from C-suite to engineers
  • Execute compelling technical demonstrations and POCs through live API integrations, Python workflows, and data pipeline demonstrations
  • Serve as strategic trusted technical advisor and business partner throughout the sales cycle, providing guidance on architecture and integration approaches
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing to translate customer use cases into technical stories, demos, and content
  • Drive adoption and expansion by identifying new use cases and partnering with Customer Success
  • Own and deliver custom proposals, solution decks, and architectural presentations tailored to stakeholder needs
  • Develop reusable technical assets, demo environments, and best practices that enable the broader sales organization
  • Lead white-boarding sessions and solution design workshops that establish technical consensus and de-risk implementation across stakeholder groups
Requirements

Technical Expertise

  • Working knowledge of Python with ability to read, modify, and run scripts
  • Strong understanding of API technologies including RESTful APIs, authentication, rate limiting, and error handling
  • Experience with data ecosystems including databases, data warehouses, and BI tools

Experience & Skills

  • 4+ years pre-sales or solutions consulting with technical SaaS products, preferably in data, analytics, API platforms, or developer tools.
  • Proven consultative selling and solution-oriented approach. Ask insightful discovery questions that uncover true business needs.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Tailor technical concepts for different audiences, from C-level executives to implementation engineers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Quickly understand complex technical environments and design elegant solutions.
  • Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change in fast-paced startup environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in enterprise sales methodologies (MEDDIC, MEDDICC, Challenger, or similar qualification frameworks)
  • Proven consultative selling approach, ask insightful discovery questions that uncover true business needs and quantifiable impact

Bonus Points

  • Experience with web scraping technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser developer tools
  • Background in AI/ML applications, LLM integration, or AI-powered products
  • Experience in data-intensive industries (e-commerce, retail analytics, competitive intelligence, market research)
  • Experience with Force Management's Command of the Message or similar value-based selling frameworks
