Snyk is the leader in secure AI software development, helping millions of developers develop fast and stay secure as AI transforms how software is built. Our AI-native Developer Security Platform integrates seamlessly into development and security workflows, making it easy to find, fix, and prevent vulnerabilities — from code and dependencies to containers and cloud.
Our mission is to empower every developer to innovate securely in the AI era — boosting productivity while reducing business risk. We’re not your average security company - we build Snyk on One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking.
It’s how we stay driven, supportive, and always one step ahead as AI reshapes our world.
Why this role?
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you'll partner with Snyk's most strategic enterprise clients to design, implement, and scale secure development solutions — from CI/CD pipeline integrations to full DevSecOps transformations. You'll sit at the intersection of pre-sales and post-sales, building deep technical relationships and driving long-term platform adoption.
You'll work closely with our Product organization to prototype features, inform roadmap decisions, and deliver reference architectures that set the standard for enterprise-scale security. If you're excited to combine hands-on technical consulting with real product influence — and to help customers build fast and stay secure in the AI era — this role is for you.
What You'll Do:
Design and prototype CI/CD workflow solutions that enable application security across software delivery pipelines and development environments, deployable at enterprise scale
Run in-depth discovery workshops and architecture design sessions to align Snyk's platform to customer requirements — spanning both pre-sales and post-sales engagements
Create and present technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and proof-of-concept solutions that validate and communicate the value of Snyk to clients and executive stakeholders
Leverage AI and machine learning to enhance integration accuracy, automate configuration, enable real-time security monitoring, and deliver intelligent troubleshooting for customers
Build deep relationships with senior technical stakeholders within customer organizations, enabling them to become strong Snyk advocates
Contribute to customer-facing publications and reference architectures, and share market insights and competitive intelligence with the broader technical community
What You Bring:
5+ years of experience in technical consulting or software implementation, with a proven track record of architecting and delivering cloud solutions for enterprise clients
Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences, including the ability to write high-quality documentation and present to executive-level stakeholders
Hands-on coding ability in Shell, Python, or JavaScript, with working knowledge of git-based SCM tools and CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Solid understanding of software development, SDLC, and DevOps/DevSecOps methodologies
Proficiency in Unix/Linux command line, and experience scoping and documenting business and functional requirements
Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or IT Security — or equivalent experience
It'd Be Awesome If You Also…
Have experience in a post-sales technical implementation role for an AppSec, CI, or DevSecOps product or service
Have contributed to open-source projects or developer communities
Love breaking down complex problems and turning them into elegant, scalable solutions
Have a sense of humour — we take our mission seriously, but not ourselves!
Compensation
Annual Base Salary Range: $123,587 – $154,483
Target Commission Range: $21,809 – $27,262 (at 100% attainment of sales)
