We are looking for an engineer to provide pre-sales technical support to our rapidly growing sales organization. This role is responsible for developing solution architectures for new prospects and existing customers, collaborating with our partners and channels, contributing technical expertise to marketing initiatives and content, and serving as a key technical resource across the entire sales organization.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Account Executives to drive complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Provide technical expertise on Cloudinary’s product offering, consult to prescribe solutions, design, and determine solution fit
- Adapt Cloudinary’s technology to meet customers’ business case (Demo, POC, documentation)
- Conduct thorough product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our product and solution offerings
- Provide professional technical responses for RFIs and RFPs.
- Create relationships with key decision makers and serve as an external technical spokesperson. Be the trusted advisor and provide world-class customer service while serving as the technical spokesperson for Cloudinary
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Sales to identify compelling Cloudinary use cases, influence product roadmap, technical content, and best practices.
- Work with the Account Management team to ensure handoff is executed smoothly as the prospect transitions into a customer.
About You:
- At least 5 years of experience in Presales as a customer-facing technical role
- Experience with Digital Asset Management, Video Streaming strategies, or Website Performance Optimization.
- Principled knowledge of website construction, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, understanding of OS and browser distinctions, and how third-party software and plugins work with browsers, website troubleshooting, and use of browser developer tools.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure – CDN, Cloud Storage, Cloud Applications, APIs, and how it all fits together.
- Experience with Martech and Adtech is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a related discipline. Science or Engineering degree preferred.
- Ability to travel occasionally up to 20% (as required).
