What You’ll Do

• Architect and implement the backend infrastructure powering a complex AI-driven platform ingesting and analyzing enterprise email data.

• Design distributed systems that scale with millions of messages per day across global orgs.

• Build secure, enterprise grade systems from day one (compliance, encryption, on-prem options, etc.).

• Work alongside some of the sharpest product and technical operators in Silicon Valley.

• Play a founding role in a new company being spun out - this is not just a job, it’s a legacy build.

Who You Are

• 10+ years in software engineering, building infrastructure for enterprise SaaS or B2B platforms.

• Comfortable working as a hands-on IC; you're not a manager who's been away from the code.

• Background includes time at high-caliber companies (think: Databricks, Scale AI, Stripe, Palantir, or top trading firms).

• You’ve built systems that run in secure, high-availability environments - and you understand the bar for selling to Fortune 500 customers.

• Deep fundamentals in backend engineering and distributed systems. Bonus for Python or TypeScript experience.

• A strong CS degree from a top university or equivalent real-world experience - bootcamp-only candidates won’t be a fit here.
