The Role

As the Fraud Risk Management Lead for our crypto business, you will be responsible for building, implementing and managing all fraud strategies for Crypto including onboarding, money movement and wallet strategies. You will be a key member of the leadership team for the crypto business as well as the Fraud Risk Management Center of Excellence. This role reports directly to the consumer banking products head of fraud.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement robust fraud strategies to control application fraud, money movement fraud, account takeovers, scams and other fraud risks present for the new crypto offering
  • Develop analytical metrics and instrumentation to proactively identify and quantify risks and provide timely risk assessment
  • Lead investigations into suspected fraudulent activities, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as needed
  • Establish and maintain a strong fraud risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards related to fraud prevention.
  • Analyze fraud trends and patterns to identify emerging risks and inform proactive mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in fraud risk management, financial crime investigations, or a related field. Experience managing risk or fraud within the crypto space is strongly preferred. Experience with industry standard fraud mitigation tools, including crypto-specific on-chain analytics.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify patterns.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Python, or R.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate findings and recommendations.

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
