Job Description

• Provide leadership for SAP BASIS activities, including oversight and accountability for delivery of services for ongoing projects and SRE operations.
• Be heavily engaged in NBC Universal Project Keystone. Keystone is a multiyear program to transform NBCU's existing Finance systems to SAP S/4.
• Understand the Cloud Computing technology concepts.
• Understand the nature of OLTP and OLAP systems, including specific roles of SAP SOH & S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP SLT, SAP NLS, SAP Process Orchestration, SAP Solution Management, SAP Gateway, SAP Enterprise Portal.
• Understand the SAP application architecture, SAP NetWeaver technology (ABAP and Java stacks), work-process roles, ICM, IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, Logon Load Balancing, saprouter configuration and setup.
• Understand the best SAP practices: Archiving, System Copies, Single Sign-On, Data Encryption, SAP SNC, SSL/TLS.
• Deploy approaches and strategies for SAPGui, EPM Add-On, Analysis for Office (AOE), SAP HANA Studio.
• Integrate and operate 3rd party applications required for change management process, monitoring, troubleshooting.
• Install, monitor, tune, and troubleshoot SAP applications and SAP HANA Databases.
• Follow protocols and standards specific to SAP large scale implementation.
• Work with SAP support on troubleshooting various issues, understanding the nature of the problem, raising OSS cases, and providing necessary support to SAP analysts to investigate problems.
• Utilize experience with the following tools, skills, and technologies: SAP & SAP HANA on AWS public cloud; SAP RISE technology and interactions with SAP ECS; SAP Fiori and other advanced SAP stacks; At least 5 multi-country SAP project implementations of high complexity, at large scale and with a global user base to support company projects and implementations.
• Work collaboratively across project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign degree equivalent), plus 12 years of experience in job offered or in a related occupation. Alternatively, if no degree or unrelated degree, employer will accept 14 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, or training.
• The position requires experience working on at least five (5) multi-country SAP project implementations of high complexity, at large scale or with a global user base.
• The position requires each of the following skills, which must have been gained through 12 years of experience:
  • Experience with SAP BASIS;
  • Experience with OLTP and OLAP systems, including specific roles of SAP SOH & S/4HANA, SAP BW, SAP SLT, SAP NLS, SAP Process Orchestration, SAP Solution Management, SAP Gateway, SAP Enterprise Portal;
  • Experience with SAP application architecture, SAP NetWeaver technology (ABAP and Java stacks), work-process roles, ICM, IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, Logon Load Balancing, saprouter configuration and setup;
  • Experience with deployment approach and strategies for SAPGui, EPM Add-On, Analysis for Office (AOE), SAP HANA Studio;
  • Experience integrating and operating 3rd party applications required for change management process, monitoring, troubleshooting;
  • Experience installing, monitoring, tuning, troubleshooting SAP applications and SAP HANA Databases;
  • Experience working with SAP support on troubleshooting various issues, understanding the nature of the problem, raising OSS cases, and providing necessary support to SAP analyst to investigate problems.
• The position requires the following skill, which must have been gained through 10 years of experience:
  • Experience with SAP practices: Archiving, System Copies, Single Sign-On, Data Encryption, SAP SNC, SSL/TLS.
• The position requires each of the following skills, which must have been gained through five (5) years of experience:
  • Experience with Cloud Computing technology concepts;
  • Experience with SAP & SAP HANA on AWS public cloud;
  • Experience with SAP Fiori and other advanced SAP stacks.
• The position requires the following skill, which must have been gained through three (3) years of experience:
  • Experience with SAP RISE technology and interacting with SAP ECS.

Salary range: $148,803- $185,000 per year
Full-time: 40 hours/week
