  • Deliver clear, executive-ready materials for monthly reviews and board discussions that distill data into clear and actional narratives.
  • Serve as a key support lead for future fundraising efforts and other strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Partner with cross functional leaders on scenario modeling and business case development, connecting financial discipline to operational outcomes.
  • Define and track KPIs and leading indicators of business performance to drive operational improvements.
  • Contribute to development of differentiated forecasting features or tools for the company and clients.
  • Partner with GTM teams on pricing strategy and proposals.
  • Stand up the systems, tooling, and frameworks the Strategic Finance team needs to influence the business, including automation, reporting, and operational rhythms.
  • Partner closely with the FP&A team to ensure near-term budgets and forecasts are tightly aligned with long-term forecasting.

What you will bring to SmithRx:

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, strategy & operations, FP&A, or related finance roles with operational experience at a fast-paced, scaling company.
  • Experience with subscription business models, including an understanding of ARR, revenue, retention, and unit economics.
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Marketing, RevOps, Customer Success, and R&D teams, with a track record of influencing decisions through insight.
  • Exceptionally strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to build models from scratch in a high growth, operationally complex environment.
  • Ability to translate data and analysis into clear narratives for executives, and comfort presenting to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence, with the judgment to challenge assumptions while maintaining strong relationships.
  • High level of ownership, curiosity, and urgency, with the ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
