As a Senior Subcontracts Specialist here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will drive procurement of materials/services, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and evaluate bids/proposals. Your expertise will resolve subcontract issues and develop solutions. You will report directly to our Director of Strategic Sourcing and you’ll work out of our Tempe, AZ, Phoenix, AZ, Clearwater, FL or Norcross, GA location on a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE 
  • 3+ years of procurement/subcontracts administration, L&C, Supply Chain.
  • Negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
 
WE VALUE 
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15)
  • Detailed understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle
  • Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations
  • Procurement experience within defense, aerospace, or similar industry
  • Experience working with subcontractors during all phases of program lifecycle.
  • Experience managing subcontracts FFP, CP, CPIF, etc.
  • Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)
  • Ability to understand and negotiate terms and conditions
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience utilizing MS Office Suite, SAP, and other business tools used in the execution of subcontracts
