About MGT Insurance

MGT is the first AI-driven, neo-insurer focused on evolving commercial P&C insurance for the brokers and small business owners. By combining the expertise of industry veterans with state-of-the-art technology, we are ushering in the next evolution of commercial insurance and working to move the industry forward through the use of modern technology, better processes, and a rock-star team. We seek visionary leaders who thrive in dynamic, entrepreneurial settings, and excel in autonomous roles.

At MGT, we are building an AI-first company. That commitment shapes not only our product, but how we hire, develop, and scale our team. As we grow, we want to build intentionally and design to scale impact. That means structured processes, data-informed decision making, and AI-enabled systems embedded across the talent lifecycle.

In close partnership with the Head of People, you will translate vision into disciplined execution. Your primary focus is Talent Acquisition. You will define how we hire for the next decade by building a high-performing hiring engine and embedding AI fluency into role design and assessment. Over time, you will strengthen the broader talent systems that shape how people join, grow, and contribute across the organization. This is a high-impact role for a builder who wants to make talent a durable competitive advantage.

This role is a hybrid position and requires 3 days per week in our SF Office.

  • Establish AI fluency as a baseline expectation across all roles, embedding it into job descriptions, hiring rubrics, and assessment criteria.
  • Embed responsible AI into sourcing, screening, coordination, and evaluation workflows.
  • Improve pipeline quality, decision signal, and time-to-hire simultaneously.
  • Design hiring processes that expand access, improve representation, and promote equitable outcomes.

  • Offboarding
Design structured exit processes that protect institutional knowledge, relationships, and brand integrity.

  • Use data to strengthen fairness and decision quality.

  • Experience embedding data and technology into talent workflows to increase signal, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Executive presence and the ability to operate as a senior individual contributor, partnering directly with leadership to translate strategy into disciplined execution.
  • Strong systems thinking. You build processes that scale and evolve over time.
