The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who will serve as both a full-cycle recruiter and a process optimizer. This role will partner closely with the Head of People Operations and hiring leaders to build structured, scalable, and AI-enabled recruiting practices that improve quality of hire and increase hiring velocity.

This is a perfect role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced “start-up” culture, who loves to recruit and wants to make a meaningful impact on a business. You’ll have the opportunity to bring new ideas forward and build technology-forward recruiting processes that modernize how talent is assessed and selected in a growing SaaS organization.

While ECP is a fully remote company, we are looking for someone located within driving distance to Milwaukee, who is able to meet with the team on-site once per quarter (on average).

Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization & Recruiting Operations
    • Research and recommend tools, best practices, and processes to elevate the recruiting function
    • Leverage AI-powered sourcing, screening, and evaluation tools to increase efficiency and address process bottlenecks
    • Maintain data integrity in our ATS and support tracking metrics
    • Provide regular reporting and insights on pipeline health and time-to-fill
    • Design and implement interview scorecards aligned to role requirements and company values
    • Audit scorecard effectiveness and adjust based on hiring data and performance outcomes
    • Build documentation and playbooks for repeatable hiring practices
    • Build a knowledge base for recruiting team members and hiring managers
    • Support employer branding efforts (LinkedIn, Glassdoor, job boards, referral programs)
  • Recruiting
    • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a range of roles (GTM, Engineering, Product, Customer Experience, G&A)
    • Partner with hiring managers to define role scope, competencies, and interview processes
    • Conduct initial Zoom video screens, and guide candidates through a smooth and engaging interview process
    • Create compelling job postings and outreach messaging that reflect our brand and values
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-caliber professionals to ensure a steady flow of top talent for current and future hiring needs
    • Lead offer process, including compensation alignment and closing strategy
    • Deliver a high-quality, responsive, and professional candidate experience
    • Conduct market research on compensation, advising hiring managers on salary and pay band expectations
    • Stay informed on hiring trends, talent market conditions, and best practices in recruiting

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3 years of experience recruiting technical roles (Software Engineers, QA, etc.)
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience in a SaaS or high-growth environment
  • 2+ years of experience recruiting in-house preferred
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing strategies, and interview best practices
  • Experience working with and optimizing an ATS
  • Experience using AI tools and technology to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Familiarity with structured interview frameworks and scorecards
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing and evolving environment where you wear multiple hats
  • Ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and senior leaders
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects and/or competing priorities simultaneously
  • High ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and strong operational discipline
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
