Which team will you be joining?

Our Talent team exists to build a predictable hiring engine that enables Primer to scale with the best talent. We believe our people are our competitive advantage, and our role is to help the business make consistently strong, well-informed hiring decisions. We operate with a high bar and a targeted approach, prioritising clarity, calibration and consistency over volume. We focus on getting the fundamentals right, defining what “great” looks like upfront, and assessing it through structured, repeatable processes.

We design systems that scale, use data to guide decisions, and leverage automation and AI to remove low-value work, while protecting the parts of hiring that require human judgment and nuance. We partner closely with leaders to build hiring capability across the business, enabling managers to own and run effective processes within a clear, standardised framework.

🔍 What will you be doing?
  • Own end-to-end hiring across North America (GTM), from role definition and calibration through to offer and close

  • Partner deeply with GTM leadership (Sales, Partnerships & Marketing) on hiring strategy, org design and headcount planning, ensuring clarity on what “great” looks like before we start hiring

  • Drive a high-bar, targeted hiring approach, where quality and signal matter more than volume

  • Build and execute thoughtful sourcing strategies, focusing on high-signal, well-researched outreach

  • Bring strong market insight across the US and Canada, including talent availability, compensation and competitive dynamics, to shape hiring decisions

  • Design and run structured, standardised interview processes that generate a clear, consistent signal across candidates

  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience, combining efficient, well-run processes with high-quality human interaction at key moments

  • Stay close to funnel data and pipeline health, proactively identifying risks or opportunities early and adjusting approach accordingly

  • Balance speed, quality, and team capacity, designing processes that minimise wasted time for both candidates and hiring teams

  • Enable hiring managers to own and run the hiring process effectively, building capability while maintaining consistency and quality

  • Leverage tooling, automation, and AI to remove low-value work, while protecting the parts of hiring that require judgment and nuance

  • Contribute to evolving Primer’s employer brand in the region, improving how we attract and retain talent

👀 What we’d love to see:
  • Strong experience hiring across GTM roles (Sales, Partnerships, Marketing and Customer Success), ideally in high-growth environments

  • A track record of delivering high-quality, targeted hires where the cost of a miss is high

  • Deep expertise in sourcing, with a focus on thoughtful, personalised outreach and talent mapping, not just volume

  • Ability to partner with and challenge senior stakeholders, bringing clarity, structure and strong judgment to hiring decisions

  • Strong understanding of the North American market, including where to find talent and how to position roles competitively

  • A track record of delivering exceptional candidate experience, delivering a personalised and human led experience

  • A structured, data-informed approach, comfortable using funnel insights and forecasting hiring timelines

  • Experience using AI tools to improve efficiency, while maintaining high-quality candidate and stakeholder experience

  • Experience designing or operating structured interview processes, with a focus on clear signal and consistent evaluation

  • Ability to balance speed, quality and stakeholder capacity, making thoughtful tradeoffs rather than defaulting to urgency

  • Comfortable working in a standardised, system-driven environment, rather than building bespoke processes for each hire

  • Curiosity and openness to evolving how hiring works, questioning legacy approaches and adopting new tools and ways of working

The below would be a bonus 👇

  • Experience hiring for B2B SaaS, fintech, payments, or API-first products

  • Previous experience building or owning hiring in a new region or market

  • Familiarity with Ashby or other modern ATS platforms

✅ A typical interview process
  • An initial intro call with a Talent Partner

  • An interview with the Hiring Manager

  • Challenge Stage - Contextualised to the role

  • A final, values-alignment interview
