Join Aprio's Tax team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities.  Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Tax Associate to join their dynamic team.
 
The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing complex federal and state tax returns while providing technical tax support to clients and engagement teams. Emphasis on California tax compliance and planning for individuals and businesses.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review federal and multistate tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and pass-through entities with an emphasis on California tax
  • Research tax issues and assist with tax planning opportunities for clients
  • Serve as a primary contact for clients, maintaining strong professional relationships

Industry Experience:

  • Professional services firms
  • Real estate entities and investors
  • High-net-worth individuals and families

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with QuickBooks and QBO
  • Strong accounting / bookkeeping background
  • Experience with tax preparation software CCH Axcess, Prosystem or Lacerte and paperless workflow environment
  • Specific knowledge of California income tax
  • CPA or CPA-candidate preferred
