- Define Success: Establish and rigorously track product North Star metrics, business KPIs, and adoption funnels.
- GTM & Sales Enablement: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and the founders to define features, and prepare sales/marketing materials for initial pilots and full launch.
- Prioritization: Manage the backlog, making crucial trade-offs between speed, quality, technical debt, and new feature development in a resource-constrained startup environment.
- AI System Product Ownership: Define the product requirements for the underlying AI platform, including core APIs, data pipelines, and model serving infrastructure.
- Technical Trade-offs: Drive build vs. buy decisions for foundational technologies, focusing on cost-per-token efficiency, latency, and scalability.
- AI Evals & Trust: Design and implement the framework for model evaluation (Evals), monitoring, and governance. Define and track metrics for AI quality and model safety/bias detection.
- User Trust & Experience: Translate complex model limitations into intuitive, trustworthy user experiences and UI components.
- Communication: Act as the primary technical bridge between the AI research team, core engineering, and the business stakeholders, translating cutting-edge model research into actionable product features and business value propositions.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of shipping complex B2B or B2C software products. Ability to build scalable, reusable "building blocks" (APIs, data pipelines) that support multiple internal or external products
- Domain Expertise:Knowledge of supply chain pillars like, inventory optimization, and claims management
- Technical Fluency: A strong understanding of modern machine learning and AI concepts. Experience with or deep exposure to Generative AI is highly desirable. A technical background (e.g., CS degree, previous engineering/data science role) is a significant plus.
- Portfolio evidence product design (UI/UX designs, successful launch of product and AI features).
- Startup DNA: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment, comfortable wearing multiple hats and making high-stakes decisions with imperfect information.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly articulate technical trade-offs to non-technical audiences and product vision to engineers.
- Data Driven: Proficient in using data analysis tools (SQL, product analytics platforms) to inform product decisions and measure impact.
