Kpler’s Supply & Demand crew is owning one of our key products - historical and 18 months ahead country level supply & demand balances.

The team vision is to speed up Research to Market. Therefore, its focus is twofold - on one side, empower the Kpler Research team to build and sustain S&D balance models with the related commodity specificities, and on the other side, deliver the resulting balances to users across the ecosystem. At the moment, the crew supports models across three commodity verticals: Oil (the most mature), Grains, and LNG & Gas (the newest).

As the Product Manager for our Supply & Demand crew, you will be at the central point between Technology, Domain, Business and Design. As such, you will create and own the roadmap, working hand-in-hand with the Tech Lead and the developers of the team, as well as with internal and external stakeholders to scope the need.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse and reverse-engineer complex researcher Balances to translate them into clear, standardized data schemas and business logic;
  • Develop a deep understanding of the existing balances and the underlying concepts;
  • Build an understanding of the current technical implementations ;
  • Ensure seamless data delivery through web applications, APIs, and other data distribution pipelines;
  • Build ambitious and innovative propositions to address our internal and external customers’ needs;
  • Own the Supply & Demand product roadmap, make hard trade-offs between launching new revenue-generating client APIs and building scalable internal infrastructure;
  • Assess competition trends and functionalities to keep an edge;
  • Develop internal product training plans;
  • Never stop learning and sharing.

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a strong track record of delivering complex, data-driven products from concept to scale in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven experience as a Data or Platform Product Manager, with hands-on ownership of data-intensive products, client-facing APIs, and scalable data distribution pipelines, and a solid understanding of performance, reliability, and usability trade-offs.
  • Exceptional systems-thinking ability, with a track record of deconstructing ambiguous, complex business problems into clear, scalable product requirements, data models, and engineering-ready specifications.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to act as a bridge between domain experts (e.g., researchers, analysts) and engineering teams, translating nuanced workflows into robust, scalable solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering internal tools (B2E) and workflow automation solutions, including migrating teams from legacy systems (such as complex spreadsheets) into structured, scalable applications and driving adoption among non-technical users.
  • Proven ability to operate in environments requiring pragmatic prioritization, making tough trade-offs to deliver high-impact value incrementally while maintaining team focus and technical integrity.
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional, full-stack engineering teams, contributing to discussions across backend data architecture, API design, and frontend performance and usability.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • You have a background in commodities, energy, agriculture or financial market data, or possess a highly analytical mind capable of quickly grasping complex quantitative supply & demand models and market dynamics.
