Position Summary:

Samsung Research America is at the forefront of research and development in North America. This role will support one of our SRA Affiliates.

As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you are responsible for full-cycle recruitment of candidates across a broad spectrum of roles at different levels. These could include from the leadership level to higher volume mid-level, to early-career level roles. Accountabilities include sourcing and screening candidates, acting as an advisor and partner to hiring managers throughout the hiring process, providing detailed assessments for candidates, and recommending offer amounts using offer tools and processes.

You will manage the presentation, selection, offer negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in making a hire. You will also be accountable for managing interactions with candidates in accordance with employment law and in a manner that fosters transparency, simplicity, and respect.

 Responsibilities:

  • Develop an impactful sourcing strategy, that incorporates multi-channel searches and techniques. Collaborate with recruiting team members in proactive sourcing strategies that are successful
  • Telephone interview and evaluate candidates utilizing consistent templates and processes, using behavior-based interview and assessment techniques
  • Present pre-screened candidates to management utilizing a consistent process
  • Demonstrate diversity awareness and utilize sourcing techniques that reach diverse populations
  • Research and build knowledge of the competitive landscape in order to anticipate and overcome potential obstacles
  • Collaborate with HM, HRBP, and other key partners to build competitive offers, utilizing tools, benefits, and compensation. Utilize functional knowledge and knowledge of applicant motivations to better position the organization when negotiating competitive offers with applicants
  • Establish positive relationships with candidates to foster the best candidate experience through the interview process
  • Communicate effectively with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Proactively drives process improvements and tools enhancement of Recruiting services and operations
  • Maintain market/business intelligence regarding function and business unit alignment, work with hiring managers to build an overall understanding of position requirements, department goals, and organization business plan
  • Assist Hiring Manager in evaluating candidates, offer negotiation, and overall process troubleshooting-including review and consultation of internal salary reference points, market compensation tables, and market intelligence in order to recommend offer package components
  • Conduct market-based compensation research across industries and geographies, benchmark executive compensation structures, incentives, and long-term alignment mechanisms, and provide structured input on positioning strategy for candidates
  • Identify gaps between market expectations and internal frameworks
  • Influence partners to contribute to the best solutions while using recruitment knowledge
  • Translate external opportunities into internally actional briefs + frame risks, trade-offs, and structural considerations for executive review. Provide balanced, decision-ready perspectives for executive stakeholders
  • Develop action plans for aging requisitions while working closely with management on progress or any vital changes in strategy
  • Work closely with supporting team members, Technology Strategist, Sourcers and Coordinators, to establish successful recruitment processes

 Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 10+ years of end-to-end recruitment experience, 2+ years of management/executive level recruitment preferred
  • In-depth recruiting and sourcing experience in a fast-paced, vibrant environment
  • Demonstrable track record to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions
  • Deep understanding of marketing/sourcing techniques including lead generation, internet, cold calling, college alumni, interactive strategies
  • Shown ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-site scale
  • Knowledgeable of various employment laws including those of EEO and AA guidelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be organized, focused, and work with a drive to excel
  • Ability to work optimally in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • PHR, SPHR, CPC certifications a plus

The base pay range for roles at this level is listed below, but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.

$141,600$200,000 USD
