Senior UX Designer

This is a hybrid role based in Burlingame, CA with the team working together in-person 2 days per week.

Galileo is seeking a highly motivated Senior UX Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience designing features and workflows for web applications.

The ideal candidate is experienced working in Figma and is comfortable building and evolving design system components. In addition, the candidate has experience collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders and can work across a number of tools to communicate design decisions and address feedback.

• Design high-quality user interfaces and interactive prototypes across Galileo's product surfaces.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into intuitive workflows.
• Dive deep into the complex workflows of developers and machine learning experts who need to evaluate and observe their LLM based applications.
• Document designs for stakeholders to interpret and understand.
• Build key workflows but also account for corner cases.
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the user experience for our users.
• Contribute to a design system to maintain visual standards and accelerate development.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in UI/UX and make recommendations for improvement.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing web applications
• Early-stage startup and B2B experience preferred
• A portfolio of project examples
• Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping, specifically Figma
• Experience with user research and usability testing
• Proficiency to create and evolve design systems

• Experience working on developer tools

The pay range for this role is listed below and represents the expected salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for commission, equity, and company sponsored benefits/perks.

• The annual pay range for this role is $170,000 - $230,000 USD.
