Overview:

We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to shape user experiences across TP-Link’s connected home ecosystem, including mobile apps, device interfaces, and cloud-based services (Tapo, Deco, Omada).

You will focus on delivering clear, intuitive, and scalable experiences across a wide range of products, simplifying complex networking and smart home interactions for everyday users.

This role requires strong execution, systems thinking, and the ability to work across hardware and software in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design end-to-end user experiences across mobile apps and connected devices (setup, control, automation, troubleshooting)
  • Translate complex networking and IoT functionality into simple, intuitive user flows
  • Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and global teams (US & China) to define features and requirements
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
  • Apply and contribute to TP-Link’s design system to ensure consistency across multiple product lines
  • Deliver detailed design specifications and support implementation with engineering teams
  • Use user insights, data, and usability feedback to iterate and improve designs
  • Ensure high standards of usability, clarity, and visual quality across all deliverables
  • Work across multiple projects efficiently in a high-volume product environment

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of UX/UI design experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped products (mobile or digital products)
  • Solid foundation in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design
  • Experience designing end-to-end product experiences
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into intuitive user experiences
  • Proficiency with Figma or equivalent design tools
  • Experience working closely with product managers and engineers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in smart home, networking, or IoT products
  • Experience designing across hardware + software ecosystems
  • Familiarity with design systems and scalable UI frameworks
  • Experience working with global or distributed teams
  • Understanding of onboarding flows (Wi-Fi setup, device pairing, troubleshooting)
  • Experience using data and analytics to inform design decisions
