If Figma is your playground, you enjoy shaping design systems, and you're comfortable translating UX insights into polished, high-performing interfaces, we’d love to connect.

NOTE: We are only accepting applicants with UX/UI experience

Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Development, QA, Project Management, and Leadership to deliver cohesive, strategic experiences that align with both business and brand goals.
  • eCommerce Design Expertise - You will craft visually engaging, user-first eCommerce experiences that reflect DemandPDX’s values and elevate our clients’ brand strategies.
  • Platform Experience - You will gain hands-on experience designing within Shopify Plus and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), while also working across other enterprise-level eCommerce platforms.
  • Design Tools & Systems - You will work in Figma—creating modular systems, grids, auto-layouts, prototypes, and style guides will come naturally. You might also use Canva to develop marketing materials. You will operate comfortably within Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver).
  • UI/UX Fluency - You will demonstrate a strong grasp of visual and interaction design principles, creating intuitive, conversion-friendly user flows that keep the customer at the center.
  • SEO-Savvy Design - You will apply your understanding of how SEO impacts design decisions to optimize layout, content hierarchy, and usability for both users and search engines.
  • From Wireframes to Reality - You will translate wireframes and mockups into polished, fully functional eCommerce experiences—working seamlessly from concept to launch.
  • Shopify Theme Customization - You will apply your working knowledge of Shopify Themes to adapt and customize designs that align with specific project goals.
  • SFCC Design Integration - You will design within the capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform, effectively leveraging its framework to meet project requirements.
  • Site Mapping Know-How - You will build, update, and optimize site maps to ensure intuitive navigation and a well-organized structure for both users and search engines.

Experience designing within and modifying Shopify Themes to create custom experiences.

Ability to interpret and act on heat map data to inform and refine design choices.

Passionate about staying current with web design trends, tools, and best practices—and applying them to continuously improve user experiences.

Preferred Skills & Experience
