SVP of Marketing

North - Remote (US)

North is seeking a powerhouse SVP of Marketing to unify our global brand narrative and accelerate hyper-growth across a complex, multi-entity fintech ecosystem. You are not just a brand storyteller; you are a revenue driver who will partner intimately with Product to bake marketing into the user experience and with Sales to compress the lead-to-close cycle.

Strategic Pillars:

  • Unified Brand Architecture: Architect and own the North brand architecture, establishing positioning and messaging frameworks that unify the brand narrative across a complex, multi-entity ecosystem and deliver a consistent experience for all key audiences (merchants, partners, and developers).

  • Product-Marketing Integration: Lead the GTM function for frequent feature launches. You will bridge the gap between "what we build" and "why it matters," driving adoption of high-margin secondary products (FX, Fraud Modules) within the existing client base.

  • AI-First Demand Gen: Architect a sophisticated, AI-driven engine. This includes moving beyond traditional SEO into GEO/AEO (Generative/Answer Engine Optimization) to ensure North is the "first-choice" answer in an AI-driven search world.

  • Revenue Operations (RevOps) Synergy: Partner with Sales leadership to manage the "Integrated Revenue Org." You will be held accountable for Sales Velocity and the quality of the top-of-funnel pipeline.

Requirements:

  • Scale & Experience: 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership. You have successfully managed rebrands or marketing functions at an $800M+ scale.

  • Fintech & Payments Fluency: Deep, non-negotiable understanding of the payments landscape, eCommerce, and regulated financial environments.

  • Financial & Technical Acumen: Expert in attribution modeling, LTV:CAC ratios, and budget management. You don’t just spend money; you allocate capital to the highest-yielding channels.

  • Operational Agility: Proven ability to lead through ambiguity and rapid pivots. You are a "Player-Coach" who can set a 3-year vision but also dive into HubSpot or Google Analytics when the team needs a technical steer.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Sales Velocity & Efficiency: Shortening the sales cycle through better-qualified leads and automated nurture paths.

  • NRR (Net Revenue Retention): Driving growth within the existing install base through cross-sell marketing and product adoption.

  • Category Leadership: Measurable increase in "Share of Voice" and analyst rankings (Gartner/Forrester) in high-growth payment segments.

  • Brand Sentiment & Trust: Critical for FinTech; maintaining a high reputation score in a highly regulated environment.

Additional Information:

  • Travel requirements: 20%

  • License and certification requirements: CPP preferred

Our Benefits:

  • Medical, Dental, & Vision Coverage

  • Flexible Paid Time Off

  • 401(k) + Match

  • Mental Health Support & Well-Being Program

  • Paid Maternity & Paternity Leave

  • Education Assistance

  • Company-funded Lifestyle Spending Account

Salary Range: $250,000 - $375,000

Pay within this range varies by work location and on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We look forward to discussing your salary expectations and our full total rewards offerings throughout the interview process.

Please note: North is a US-based company and no sponsorship is available for this position at this time.

North, and our family of companies, are committed to helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
