About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Visual Designer to own and lead the next chapter of OpusClip’s brand and marketing web experience. This is a leadership role for a builder — someone who defines the vision and ships it. You’ll drive our brand evolution end-to-end, from the refreshed visual direction to launching it live across every touchpoint, and you’ll own the outcomes it delivers.

This is not a role for someone waiting on a brief. We want a designer who sets the direction, sequences the work, makes the calls, and pushes projects to launch — with exceptional taste, a relentless eye for detail, and the judgment to know what "great" looks like without being told.

You’ll operate as an AI-native creative, using modern AI tooling to move fast and raise the bar on quality. And while you’ll partner closely with marketing and product design, you’ll be the one steering the brand and web workstream — balancing aesthetics, performance, and storytelling to build responsive, conversion-driven experiences.

What You'll Do
  • Lead OpusClip’s brand upgrade end-to-end — define the refreshed visual language and drive it all the way to a live launch across the website, landing pages, and digital experiences.

  • Own the roadmap for the brand and web workstream — scope the work, set priorities, and move projects from concept to shipped without waiting for direction.

  • Independently design, animate, and build production-ready pages across Figma, Rive, and Webflow — you own the craft from first sketch to final deploy.

  • Design responsive, mobile-first layouts and craft smooth, lightweight UI animations and micro-interactions.

  • Translate marketing goals and brand direction into visually compelling, user-centered, conversion-optimized experiences for campaigns, product launches, and events.

  • Set the standard for visual and brand consistency, and establish the guidelines and systems that hold as we scale.

  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation, production, and iteration without compromising quality.

What We're Looking For
  • A strong track record in web and visual design, with a portfolio of live, shipped work — not just concepts.

  • Proven experience leading a brand refresh or rebrand, from setting the visual direction to rolling it out live across real products or sites (please highlight this in your portfolio).

  • A genuine self-starter who thrives with autonomy — examples of projects you scoped, drove, and shipped largely on your own, with minimal direction.

  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Rive, and Webflow, plus a solid working understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Strong experience in UI animation and motion design.

  • An exceptional sense of layout, typography, hierarchy, and modern design principles.

  • Fluency with AI creative tools, and a point of view on how to use them to work faster and better.

  • The judgment to balance creativity with business goals and data-driven decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and the ability to align design, marketing, and engineering as a leader — not just a contributor.

  • Bonus: experience with video editing or motion design tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere).

Why Join Us
  • Shape the brand of a fast-moving, globally recognized AI company at a pivotal moment.

  • Real creative ownership and the autonomy to lead — this is your workstream to define and drive.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
