Projects You Might Work On:

You might find yourself contributing to AI in diverse ways, for example:

Supporting AI Language Data for Korean, Chinese or both

If you have native or near-native in Korean, Chinese or both fluency, you'll contribute to improving AI systems by engaging with a wide variety of language-focused tasks. This could include annotation, evaluation, or prompt creation, all aimed at enhancing AI's understanding and use of the languages

Evaluating Machine Transliterated Lyrics (Korean to Chinese)

For those with native-level or near-native proficiency in transliterating Korean to Chinese (Simplified) script, you'll play a crucial role in assessing the quality and accuracy of machine-transliterated song lyrics. This involves reviewing and evaluating lyrics for meaning, fluency, and naturalness, providing quality ratings based on predefined criteria, and identifying and correcting errors in transliteration. Your feedback will directly contribute to improving automated transliteration systems. Familiarity with different music genres and lyrical styles is a plus.

What We're Looking For:

- We're seeking detail-oriented, curious, and adaptable individuals eager to engage with language and technology
- Native or near-native fluency in the Korean and Chinese 
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken).Comfortable using digital tools and working remotely.
- Ability to focus on detail and maintain concentration over large volumes of content.
- Previous experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality evaluation is a plus but not required.
- Experience using online evaluation tools or platforms is a nice-to-have.

Geographic Requirements
We accept candidates from a wide range of countries, including but not limited to: China, South Korea, United States

All work is freelance, offers flexible scheduling, and is ongoing based on project needs. For some projects, candidates who get onboarded and complete 10 hours in the first week may receive a reimbursement for 1 hour of their evaluated hourly rate as part of a learning program.
