Nomad Internet is an Internet Service Provider that serves the underserved, bringing people in rural communities, on-the-road travelers, and RV parks reliable access to the Internet. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we seek a creative dynamic, highly skilled Shopify Developer to become an integral part of our dynamic team.

Position Overview:
The Shopify Developer will be responsible for designing and optimizing our Shopify store to ensure a visually appealing, user-friendly, and conversion-optimized experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design & Development
- Create and update visually engaging Shopify store designs that reflect our brand's image and values.
- Develop responsive designs to ensure our store looks and performs well on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Integrate necessary Shopify apps and features to enhance the site's functionality.

2. User Experience (UX) & User Interface (UI) Design
- Develop and maintain a consistent website layout and structure.
- Design intuitive navigation menus, product pages, and checkout processes to enhance the shopping experience.
- Conduct user research and competitor analysis to stay updated with the latest e-commerce design trends.

3. Optimization & Performance
- Monitor site speed and optimize graphics, CSS, scripts, and other elements for faster page loads.
- A/B tests different design elements to determine the most effective layout and visual strategies for conversion.
- Address and resolve any issues related to the site's design or performance.

4. Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the marketing team to align site design with promotional activities and campaigns.
- Collaborate with product managers to showcase products in the most effective manner.
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary design adjustments.

5. Maintenance & Updates
- Regularly update the website with new product images, banners, or promotional graphics.
- Ensure compatibility with the latest browsers and devices.
- Address and resolve any design-related issues or bugs.

Requirements

- Proven experience designing and managing Shopify stores.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Knowledge of Liquid (Shopify's template language) is a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing e-commerce web design projects.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and best practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Must be willing to work within the US CST working hours time zone (8 am - 6 pm).
