The Snowflake Data Acquisition and Integration Specialist designs and implements data extraction and loading solutions, works with various data platforms, and enhances analytics solutions.
This is a remote position.
The Snowflake Data Acquisition and Integration Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing the data extract and load with Snowflake as the target data sink. This role will extract data from numerous 3rd party data platforms, including cloud SaaS API and on-premise sources. The candidate will work closely with the solution architect and data architect to implement a high-performing data platform that fulfills the requirements of the business. They will be part of a team of developers through implementing, deploying, and enhancing analytics solutions.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Support the analytics solution in data extract and load solution delivery
- Translate functional specifications and business requirements into technical designs that include complex data models and front-end visualizations
- Propose and implement potential improvements for existing integration patterns
- Maintain data extract and load programs
- Select appropriated technology components to realize solution designs
- Anticipate future data needs in solution designs and reference architecture
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date project and solution life cycle documentation
- Contribute to the team's knowledge by providing guidance, conducting code reviews, and sharing expertise.
Skills:
Must Have
- 5+ years of experience with data extract and load integration patterns
- 3+ years of experience with the Snowflake data platform
- 3+ years of experience with Snowflake data integration patterns
- 3+ years of experience with Python
- 2+ years AWS Data Lake Reference Architecture
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- 2+ years with GitHub or similar CI/CD processes
Nice to Have
- 2+ years SAP BODS
- 2+ years of experience with Dell Boomi
- 2+ years SAP SLT (Landscape Transformation Replication Server)
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Redwood
