We’re looking for a highly creative and detail-driven Social Media Content Creator to join our team. This role is responsible for bringing our brand to life visually across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube. The ideal candidate is a strong illustrator, graphic designer and video editor who understands how to design specifically for social—where clarity, speed and scroll-stopping visuals matter most. 

You’ll partner closely with our social media team to concept, design and edit compelling content that resonates with healthcare professionals across generations. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role that requires both artistic skill and performance-minded thinking.

Responsibilities: 

  • Design original graphics, carousels and templates that feel native to each platform—not like traditional ads 
  • Create custom illustrations that are clear, relatable and built for fast scrolling (not over-polished or overly formal) 
  • Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn using pacing, humor and styles common in creator and YouTuber content 
  • Use memes, trends and cultural references thoughtfully to make content feel current and shareable 
  • Add motion graphics, captions and effects that enhance storytelling without feeling heavy or overproduced 
  • Translate campaign ideas into content that feels organic to the feed and aligned with how people actually consume social 
  • Quickly adapt content across formats, hooks and edits to test what performs best 
  • Balance brand consistency with creative flexibility—knowing when to follow guidelines and when to push for what works on social 
  • Collaborate closely with the social team to produce high-quality content with fast turnaround times 
  • Stay deeply plugged into social trends, editing styles and platform shifts—and know which ones are worth acting on 
  • Keep files, templates and assets organized for fast, repeatable content creation 
  • Use performance data (engagement, watch time, saves, shares) to refine creative and improve results over time 

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing illustration, graphic design and social-first video editing 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent tools 
  • Experience designing and editing specifically for short-form social content 
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory and visual hierarchy 
  • Ability to design quickly without sacrificing quality or brand consistency 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines 
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and file management skills 
  • Ability to take creative direction and execute with minimal oversight 
  • Strong communication and time management skills

Aya’s general sick leave policy is that employees accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked. Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be $33.00 to $43.00 hourly, which equates to $68,640 to $89,440 annually.     

The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
