The Role
The Social Media & Content Intern supports ATP’s marketing team in maintaining a consistent, high-quality, on-brand presence across all digital platforms. This role reports to ATP’s Marketing Manager and works closely with ATP Brand Ambassadors to create engaging content, support campaigns, and enhance ATP’s social community. The position requires familiarity with aviation, social media trends, and short-form video content, with travel required for content creation at events.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in brainstorming and creating social media content across platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Maintain brand voice consistency across platforms with attention to grammar, style, and detail
  • Capture and edit photos and short-form video using tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar software
  • Collaborate with ATP Brand Ambassadors on content campaigns
  • Research trends and industry best practices
  • Assist in coordinating content schedules, approvals, and deliverables to ensure timely posting
  • Monitor and engage with the online community, actively representing ATP across all platforms
  • Assist with reviewing user-generated content and managing permissions through social content platforms (e.g., Pixlee)

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and current trends, with the ability to bring fresh ideas
  • Experience creating and editing short-form video content using CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams
  • Familiarity with aviation or the airline industry
  • Comfortable capturing content in dynamic, real-world training environments
  • Comfortable with travel as needed for events and capturing content
  • Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here must be met by an intern to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. The intern is regularly required to talk, hear, see, stand, walk, use hands to handle or manipulate equipment, and reach with hands and arms. This role may also require lifting equipment up to 25 pounds and extended use of hands for editing and content creation.
