About the Role

We’re looking for a designer to bring ShopMy’s brand to life across our owned social channels. As a contractor on our social team, you’ll transform content ideas into polished, visually compelling assets that feel current, premium, and unmistakably ShopMy.

This role is ideal for a designer first — someone with a trained eye for composition, typography, and visual storytelling — who’s also curious about how great design performs on social. You’ll collaborate closely with our social strategist to translate weekly plans into cohesive visual moments that strengthen ShopMy’s identity across platforms.

What You’ll Do
  • Design elevated, on-brand creative for @shopmy’s social channels — spanning static posts, light motion graphics, and short-form video.
  • Interpret content strategy into clear, scroll-stopping design systems that maintain aesthetic consistency and brand integrity.
  • Participate in creative brainstorms and bring a designer’s lens to discussions about format, layout, and visual storytelling.
  • Adapt existing brand assets and campaign concepts into fresh social executions.
  • Evolve with the brand’s creative direction — bringing new ideas, formats, and visual approaches to the table.
What Sets You Up for Success
  • 5+ years of experience in graphic design, motion design, or visual communication — ideally with experience designing for digital or social environments.
  • Deep understanding of composition, color, and typography, with the ability to design for small-format, mobile-first experiences.
  • Proficiency across key design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
  • Comfortable working quickly and iteratively in a collaborative, feedback-rich environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization across multiple content streams.
  • Curiosity about platform trends and an openness to learning social-native best practices.

The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation. ShopMy is flexible pending candidate's experience and how our business needs evolve throughout the search. Every employee of ShopMy receives equity on top of cash compensation!
