Overview

As Social Media Manager / Strategist at Rise at Seven, you are accountable for turning social strategy into high-performing execution — ensuring that everything we publish is insight-led, platform-native, and built to perform.

You sit at the centre of delivery — bridging strategy and creation — owning what gets made, how it performs, and how it is delivered to clients.

This role is both performance engine and delivery owner — responsible for execution strategy, content performance, and the day-to-day running of client social work.

You will lead planning, communication, and delivery across accounts — ensuring work is on-brief, on time, on budget, and continuously improving.

Key Performance Indicators

  • 80% of social accounts hitting KPIs
  • Creating famous social case studies/awards for your social strategies
  • Growth of key social metrics (reach, saves, shares, engagement rate, followers)
  • Hitting deadlines and budgets

Channel Strategy & Platform Planning

  • Define and own channel-specific strategies across organic social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, Reddit, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
  • Determine the role of each platform within a client or brand ecosystem
(e.g. awareness, engagement, education, conversion, community)
  • Translate high-level strategy into platform-native approaches — formats, tone, frequency, and content mix
  • Identify where to prioritise effort and investment across channels based on audience behaviour and performance
  • Continuously refine channel strategies based on data, trends, and platform evolution
  • Translate high-level strategy into clear, actionable content plans and formats
  • Own performance tracking and optimisation — not just reporting, but action

 Content Planning

  • Lead the development of content calendars, formats, and series
  • Build and maintain client roadmaps for social — aligning content to objectives and campaigns
  • Balance proactive campaigns with reactive, real-time opportunities

Client Delivery, project management & Communication

  • Own day-to-day client communication across social accounts
  • Lead regular client check-ins, updates, and reporting conversations
  • Translate performance and strategy into clear, confident client narratives in decks and storytelling assets
  • Manage expectations, timelines, and deliverables proactively
  • Ensure all work is aligned to client objectives, brand, and KPIs
  • Own task management within project management systems
  • Ensure all deliverables are scoped, tracked, and delivered on time
  • Manage workflow between strategists, creator managers, and creators
  • Maintain visibility of priorities, risks, and dependencies across accounts

Budget & Resource Allocation

  • Manage and allocate budgets across:
    • Content production
    • Creator/influencer spend
    • Platform prioritisation
  • Ensure spend is aligned to performance and impact
  • Identify opportunities to maximise output and efficiency
  • Work with Leads to ensure commercial viability and profitability of accounts

Performance, Insight & Optimisation

  • Analyse platform data, audience behaviour, and content performance
  • Turn insights into clear recommendations and next steps
  • Feed performance insights back into both content and client strategy
  • Build reporting narratives that go beyond metrics — focusing on impact

Platform & Cultural Intelligence

  • Stay ahead of platform updates, trends, and algorithm shifts
  • Translate trends into brand-relevant, scalable content ideas
  • Understand platform nuance (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) and adapt accordingly

Creator & Channel Management

  • Work closely with creators and social execs to bring content to life
  • Provide clear briefs, feedback, and performance-driven direction
  • Leverage internal creators and external talent (e.g. Rise Network)
  • Ensure owned brand channels are actively managed and growing

Collaboration & Escalation

  • Partner with Social Leads on strategic direction and escalation points
  • Work with Creator Managers to ensure smooth delivery and team efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (SEO, PR, Creative) for integrated campaigns
  • Escalate risks, performance issues, or client concerns early

Why This Role Matters

  • You are the owner of delivery and performance — where strategy becomes reality
  • You remove pressure from Leads by owning client comms and execution
  • You ensure social is not just creative — but structured, accountable, and commercially effective

What Good Looks Like

  • Clients trust you and rarely need escalation
  • Content performance improves consistently over time
  • Delivery is smooth, proactive, and never reactive
  • You bring clarity, structure, and confidence to every account
  • You balance creativity with commercial awareness

What We Can Offer You

  • $75,000 – $80,000 salary
  • Generous holiday allowance + public holidays
  • Holiday loyalty scheme
  • Work from anywhere for up to one month a year
  • Your birthday off
  • Christmas and New Year office shutdown
  • Access to private medical
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
  • Flexible and hybrid working
  • Bucket list scheme — one life experience on us
