Job Summary: The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers.
Compensation: $75k-80k/year
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Social Media Strategy: Create, manage, and execute social media strategies that align with business goals and marketing objectives.
- Content Creation: Design and produce engaging content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
- Community Management: Monitor, respond to, and engage with our online community across all social media channels.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to measure the success of campaigns and strategies.
- Social Media Advertising: Plan and manage paid social media campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into our strategy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure brand consistency and support integrated marketing campaigns.
- Influencer Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand our reach and credibility.
- Crisis Management: Handle social media crises and negative feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to team members on social media best practices and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media metrics and analytics.
- Creative mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience with social media advertising and tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar platforms.
- Ability to assist with marketing, design, and administrative tasks.
