Why does this role exist?
This role exists to scale the studio’s creative capacity across multiple F&B brands by producing high-impact short-form videos and motion graphics that drive organic engagement and paid performance. You will translate promotions, launches, and campaign strategies into platform-native, on-brand visuals while rapidly iterating from performance data and trend insights. As client demand grows, this role ensures a steady pipeline of thumb-stopping creative that reflects U.S. social trends, humor, and culture.
The Impact you’ll make
Short-form Video Production (Reels/TikTok/Shorts)
- Edit raw food, drink, and lifestyle footage into engaging, platform-optimized videos
- Craft hooks, pacing, captions, and CTAs aligned with trending formats and brand voice
- Deliver motion graphics to enhance storytelling without overpowering live-action footage
Creative Ideation and Trend Adaptation
- Proactively research U.S. social trends, memes, and audio—and adapt them for F&B
- Pitch content concepts and storyboards for launches, promos, and evergreen content
- Translate reference content and competitor insights into brand-appropriate ideas
Cross-Platform Design and Asset Adaptation
- Design static and animated assets for social, websites, paid ads, and in-store
- Repurpose creatives for organic and paid placements with correct specs and variants
- Maintain brand guidelines while exploring fresh visual directions
Collaboration and Performance Iteration
- Partner with growth marketers to align creatives to campaign goals and audiences
- Iterate quickly based on performance feedback, retention metrics, and qualitative signals
- Communicate progress, blockers, and timelines proactively and transparently
Project and Workflow Management
- Manage multiple brands/projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
- Use templates and platform-native tools for speed without sacrificing quality
- Leverage AI creative tools to accelerate editing, captioning, and cutdowns
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:
- 3–5+ years in social-focused video editing/motion graphics with a portfolio of real, shot footage edited into Reels/TikTok/Shorts for clients/companies
- Strong track record creating organic social content (not just ads), ideally for F&B—or portfolio clearly aligned with F&B style and storytelling
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) plus CapCut/Final Cut Pro/DaVinci Resolve
- Demonstrated fluency in U.S. short-form trends, memes, humor, and best practices across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Excellent, upbeat, and articulate communication with reliable availability to work 9–5 ET or 10–6 ET, 40 hours/week

- Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
- Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
- Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
- Back-up computer and internet connection

- Creative: Short-form storytelling, hook writing, pacing, typography/layout, transitions, and on-brand motion graphics
- Strategic: Ability to adapt trends to brand goals, interpret performance data into actionable iterations, and tailor content to organic vs. paid objectives
- Personal: Proactive, upbeat, collaborative, and highly articulate; meticulous attention to detail; transparent communicator who flags risks early and integrates feedback quickly
