We’re hiring a C#/.NET Developer to join the PBS Information Technology team!


We’re looking for someone who is passionate about software development, enjoys solving complex problems, and can work successfully both independently and collaboratively in a 100% remote environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Modernize a business-critical Microsoft Access/VBA application using C#/.NET and PostgreSQL
  • Design and develop new enterprise applications
  • Create clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment
  • Collaborate with the Software Development Manager and development team

The ideal candidate has at least five years of C#/.NET development experience, PostgreSQL knowledge, and the ability to understand and refactor Visual Basic/VBA code. Experience with ASP.NET Core, MVC, Blazor, or medical industry applications is a plus.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience 

  1. High school diploma or equivalent. 

  1. Code Writing and Review: 1 year  

  1. C# skills or Microsoft .NET: 1 year  

  1. Software development: 5 years  

 

Preferred Education and Experience 

  1. Associate degree in software development or equivalent years of experience 

  1. Microsoft Certification in .NET C# 

  1. PostgreSQL: 1 year  

  1. VBA - Microsoft Access/Excel or Visual Basic 6: 1 year 

  2. 10 plus years in software development
