We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join OneCrew’s quickly growing team. You’ll play an instrumental role in defining and building out the product and platform with the co-founders and engineering team as we scale our customer base.

Location: This role is based in San Francisco with expected 3+ days in-office weekly at our FiDi office.

What you'll do

Focus: Building reliable, high-performing systems and features that empower paving contractors to run their businesses with clarity, accuracy, and confidence.

  • Design, build, and ship new products and features—including AI-powered automation and intelligence— that directly impact how contractors estimate jobs, manage crews, and track profitability in real time.

  • Build and ship AI-driven features that set new standards for the industry—intelligent estimating, predictive crew optimization, and automated insights that help contractors make better decisions faster

  • Own system reliability and performance: ensure our platform is secure, observable, automated, and built to scale as we grow

  • Collaborate across engineering, product, and design to translate ideas into elegant, practical solutions that customers love

  • Continuously refine our technical standards and processes—from testing and deployment to documentation and code review—to improve how we build and ship

  • Champion a culture of craftsmanship and collaboration, helping shape how our team grows, learns, and delivers together

Qualifications
  • 3-6+ years of software engineering experience in a high velocity environment

  • Familiarity with NodeJS, React, AWS, PostgreSQL tech stack a plus

  • Does not Work Authorization to work in US
