Join Us in Building the Future of Home Robotics
At Sunday, we're developing personal robots to reclaim the hours lost to repetitive tasks. We're focused on an ambitious goal to make generalized robots broadly accessible, enabling households to take back quality time.
We have spent the last 18 months building a talented team, securing capital, and validating our technology. We are now seeking passionate individuals to join us in the next phase of our growth. If you are ready to apply your skills to the forefront of robotics innovation, we’d love to hear from you.
What to Expect
As a Software Engineer, Human-Robot Interface (Unity), you are the architect of our "Visual Gateway." You will build the interfaces that allow humans to step into the robot’s perspective for high-fidelity data collection and remote teleoperation. Your work is the primary feedback loop for our operators and memory developers, enabling real-time spatial experiences and high-performance 2D control interfaces.
What You’ll Do
Hybrid AR Interfaces: Design and build immersive AR applications that seamlessly integrate 2D overlays and dashboards with 3D spatial data, focusing on low-latency robot teleoperation and Skill Capture Gloves™ controls.
Multi-Device Integration: Architect and maintain AR applications across multiple headset platforms, ensuring fluid interoperability between wearable hardware and our humanoid robot stack.
High-Performance Pipelines: Design and optimize low-latency video capture and telemetry streams within Unity and Android to enable real-time visualization and high-quality data collection.
Cross-Functional Fluidity: While this role centers on AR and UX, we operate in a high-growth environment. You can expect to partner directly with our Product, ML, Data Operations, and Robotics teams to define, prototype, and ship entirely new user experiences.
What You’ll Bring
3D & 2D Engineering: 3+ years of experience building in Unity (C#), with a track record of developing both spatial 3D environments and functional 2D interfaces.
Spatial Fluency: A deep understanding of spatial math concepts, including rigid transforms, 3D rotations, and camera projections.
UX for Hardware: Experience building interfaces that translate complex robot states into clear, actionable visualizations for an operator.
Nice to have
Experience with low-latency video frameworks (e.g., WebRTC) or camera protocols (UVC, GMSL).
Experience with marketplace, gig-work, or data-labeling platforms.
Experience with Android (Kotlin) app development, Flutter, Python, or C++.
Experience integrating Unity runtimes into native Android applications (Unity as a Library).
At Sunday Robotics, we’re building technology shaped by real people — curious, creative, and diverse. We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
Even if you don’t meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply. Studies show that women and underrepresented groups often hold back unless they meet 100% of the criteria — we don’t want that to be the reason we miss out on great talent.
