Clockwork Systems is building next-generation, high-performance applications that power distributed systems at scale. We are looking for Full-Stack Software Engineer Interns who want hands-on experience designing and building both backend and frontend systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

If you love coding across the stack, solving challenging problems, and delivering real impact, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do
  • Design, implement, and deploy scalable backend services
  • Build responsive, user-friendly frontend applications
  • Work across the full stack, integrating frontend interfaces with backend systems
  • Collaborate on API design, database modeling, and system architecture
  • Debug and optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team-wide engineering best practices
What You Bring
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, EE, or related field
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and backend frameworks (Django, Node.js, Spring)
  • Solid understanding of databases, REST APIs, and software design principles
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and full-stack development concepts
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Exposure to low-latency or high-performance systems
  • Previous full-stack project experience (personal, academic, or professional)
