About the role

What you'll do

  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the engineering team, setting clear goals, priorities, and timelines to ensure project success and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Drive technical excellence and best practices within the team, promoting collaboration, code quality, and innovation to deliver high-performing, reliable software solutions.
  • Mentor and coach engineers, providing regular feedback, support, and professional development opportunities to help them grow their skills, advance their careers, and contribute effectively to the team's success.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of leadership in an engineering or technical role, with experience managing and mentoring a team of software engineers or developers.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in software development methodologies, tools, and languages, enabling effective oversight and guidance of engineering projects from conception to delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and inspire and motivate team members to achieve shared goals.
