About the role

Generalist senior engineer with strong backend instincts. You’ll ship features end-to-end, collaborate across product and engineering, and catch problems before they reach production.

What you’ll do

  • Design, build, and ship backend features from idea to production
  • Write clean, well-tested code and improve existing systems over time
  • Collaborate on product requirements and translate them into robust implementations
  • Improve developer experience: tooling, CI, test reliability, local environments
  • Participate in on-call/incident response and drive postmortem follow-ups

Skills & qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Strong backend/product engineering fundamentals and ability to ship end-to-end
  • Comfort debugging production issues and improving systems over time
  • Good testing habits and code review judgment
  • Clear written communication (PRs, docs, project updates)

Preferred qualifications (apply even if you meet only some):

  • Experience owning a service or feature area (roadmap, reliability, quality bar)
  • Experience improving developer experience (CI, tooling, build/test speed)
  • Familiarity with distributed systems patterns (queues, retries, idempotency)
