Position overview

We are looking for a seasoned Backend Engineer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable, high-performance web applications, with a particular focus on enterprise application. You’ll work in a deeply iterative, collaborative, fast-paced environment with a team that takes pride in their craft and enjoys building software that delights our customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and build efficient and reusable systems that drive complex applications
  • Plan and deploy infrastructure necessary to build, test, and deploy our products
  • Ensure the security and integrity of application data in compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Qualifications


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have at least 8 years of experience building production apps at scale
  • Experience of Software development in general purpose programming languages: Javascript, Typescript, Python, etc
  • Are comfortable building complex applications and systems from the ground up.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) is a significant plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle issues with innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and have a growth mindset.
