Job Description

CyberArk is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Machine Identity Security team, responsible for the Control Plane and Data Platform — our cloud platform that secures machine identities at scale. In this role, you will help advance our next generation Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) capabilities and shape how global organizations manage, automate, and protect their machine identities.

CyberArk’s Machine Identity Security platform plays a critical role in securing modern cloud and AI-driven environments by helping organizations establish trusted machine-to-machine communication and manage identities securely at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and contribute to features that enhance the Machine Identity Cloud platform.
  • Build and maintain backend services and data pipelines using Golang and Java (Flink), including business logic and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain data-focused frontend applications using TypeScript and React.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across distributed services within the Machine Identity Security platform.
  • Drive continuous improvement of development workflows, tooling, and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

  • Software development experience, ideally across both backend and frontend systems.
  • Background building modern, scalable backend and/or web applications.
  • Experience with a data store technology (preferred Postgres or Snowflake) and proficiency with SQL.

Hands-on experience with:

  • Frontend: TypeScript, React, GraphQL, MUI X
  • Backend: Java, Golang, PostgreSQL
  • A genuine interest in working across the full stack — from API design to UI/UX implementation.
  • Knowledge of x509, PKI, and certificate issuance protocols (e.g., ACME, SCEP) is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies and develop deep domain expertise in machine identity security.

Additional Information:

  • Palo Alto Networks and CyberArk embrace an AI-first mindset across engineering and operations, encouraging teams to thoughtfully leverage modern AI tools and technologies to improve innovation, productivity, and security outcomes.

CyberArk is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected Veteran status.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $150,000/year, plus discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance, and equity.
