Software Engineering Intern

Job: As a Software Engineering Intern at Parallel, you’ll work on how AI agents retrieve and understand information from the open web. You’ll help train and scale embedding and ranking models that sit behind our APIs, where model quality, latency, and freshness all matter.

You: You’re curious how modern ML models behave at scale and like arguing about where search, retrieval, and transformers converge. You care less about toy problems and more about seeing your work show up in real systems used by other engineers and AI products.

Our team works fully in-person, between our Palo Alto HQ and San Francisco office. We’re a flat, talent-dense organization dedicated to solving technical and creative problems.
