About the Role

Planful is looking for a motivated Solution Architect to join our Delivery Services team. You will be the functional lead on implementation projects, assuming responsibility for the customer specific application design and providing oversight to the team during the application configuration, testing, knowledge transfer and rollout activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Accounting or FP&A experience, focusing on financial reporting, budgeting, consolidations, and/or close management.
• Hands-on experience with financial reporting and budgeting.
• Experience managing and/or implementing Financial Management software.
• Strong executive presence to interact with senior-level executives.
• Customer-centric mindset, with a strong sense of urgency for customer care.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Responsibilities 

• Assess and optimize existing implementations/builds of Planful’s Financial Performance Management Suite
• Manage multiple customer consultations and projects for Planful focused on planning, close management and reporting processes.
• Facilitate discovery and design session with clients to assess business requirements.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of key accounts through ongoing engagement, projects/initiatives and partnership with the Customer Success team .
• Analyze existing client financial planning and reporting processes to determine how these models will work best within the solution.
• Provide best practice recommendations and solutions to clients to ensure they are utilizing Planful with current, optimized methods.
• Provide escalation support and leadership to diagnose and resolve issues at a systemic/root cause.
• Be a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to clients in areas such as change management, business process design and redesign, process improvements and analytics.

Compensation decisions are based on each individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and work location.The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 CAD per year, depending on experience and location.
