Our project teams and resources are high level professionals that perform consulting services and development throughout our technology practices.

Our current client is searching for an Solution Data Architect - Scrum Lead Consultant for a 1 year contract with a major Food Distributor.

The data scrum lead will lead the data team in creating a data vault and data warehouse on Snowflake. The candidate will work closely with the solution architect to manage tasks and deliverables within the project schedule. The Scrum Lead will be the primary contact between the data team and project stakeholders. They must have a strong working knowledge of data management principles and experience with data engineering visualization projects.  

Responsibilities:

  • Be a project leader in the development of automated data pipelines
  • Manage data backlog and delivery blockers
  • Report project progress to the leadership team
  • Lead sprint ceremonies, remove roadblocks, ensure stories are
  • Promote healthy team dynamics and execution
  • Ensure testing scenarios are designed and executed to ensure high-quality data

Requirements

·         2+ years working in the Snowflake environment

·         5+ years working with data engineering projects

·         Strong SQL knowledge

·         Solid understanding of Data Vault 2.0 methodology and data models

·         Solid understanding of Kimball design methodology and data models

·         Experience with Agile methodology

·         Experience with Kanban methodology

·         Knowledge of Microsoft ADO or similar tool (e.g. Jira)
