About Typeface
We help the world’s biggest brands move from brief to fully personalized campaigns — in days, not months.

Founded by Abhay Parasnis and backed by Microsoft, GV, Salesforce, Lightspeed, Madrona and Menlo, we’re building category-defining technology at the intersection of creativity and AI with real impact. Join us to help shape the future of enterprise marketing.

The Role

This is a hands-on, project-based internship where you'll work directly with Typeface's Customer Success and Product/Engineering teams to design and deliver real solution architectures for enterprise customers. Over 12 weeks, you'll go from understanding customer requirements to building and demonstrating working GenAI solutions — with meaningful impact from day one.

This role is ideal for Masters or PhD students with a strong foundation in AI/ML, software engineering, or enterprise systems who want to apply their research and technical skills to real-world, production-grade challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Solutions Architects and Engagement Managers to understand enterprise customer requirements and co-design GenAI solutions
  • Prototype AI-driven workflows and agents tailored to specific customer use cases
  • Build integrations with customer systems (CMS, DAM, marketing automation, analytics) and platforms such as Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Adobe Experience Cloud
  • Apply an experimentation-first mindset — build proof points quickly, iterate on feedback, and demonstrate tangible wins
  • Document architectures, prompts, patterns, and best practices for reuse across customer engagements
  • Contribute findings and field-proven insights back to Product and Engineering to help shape the Typeface roadmap

What You'll Bring

  • Currently enrolled in a Masters or PhD program in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude, Llama, Gemini) and/or diffusion models — whether through coursework, research, or personal projects
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and LLM application development
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownership
  • Bonus: experience with enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Adobe, Google Workspace) or content/marketing tech stacks

Location

This is a hybrid role reporting to our Palo Alto office 3 days a week.

Pay range: $40.00-$60.00 hourly

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation — including salary, equity, and 401(k)
  • Full medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family
  • HSA and FSA options to support your financial wellness
  • Flexible time off — including parental leave
  • Well-being programs — resources to support your mental and physical health
  • Daily lunch & snacks
  • Mentorship & impact — work closely with top AI leaders on products that ship

Equality Opportunity Statement
We welcome and encourage applicants from all backgrounds. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, medical condition, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. We comply with applicable laws in every jurisdiction where we operate.
