The Solutions Architect identifies requirements, develops SQL Server solutions, analyzes data, and interacts with clients, ensuring project alignment and high-quality outcomes.

Paradigm is searching for a Solutions Architect to support our client, a global leader in the legal industry. The Solutions Architect plays a key role in identifying requirements and developing robust solutions in SQL Server for legal services projects. Working closely with project managers and SQL Developers, this role requires strong SQL expertise, specifically with T-SQL, strategic thinking, and adaptability to deliver high-quality, client-focused outcomes in a dynamic team environment.

As a Solutions Architect you will:
- Distill data requirements from settlement agreements, client interactions, and other legal documents
- Analyze requirements and datasets to develop data processing plans that address the custom needs of each project
- Coordinate with Client Services to determine the sufficiency of data and ensure alignment in all initial requirements
- Assist in the development, debugging, and testing of T-SQL code
- Interface with business stakeholders to identify new and/or clarify existing requirements
- Manage and prioritize assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are achieved, communicating appropriately about progress and obstacles
Requirements
Our skills and experience wish list includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or related fields) strongly preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in leading the development of technical solutions
- 10+ years’ experience with MS SQL Server and/or other relational databases
- Experience tuning T-SQL queries and/or in the optimization of database server performance
- Experience performing complex data analysis of vast datasets
- Advanced level knowledge and experience working with SQL Server and/or in the development of T-SQL code
- Ability to understand complex business processes and adapt solutions to meet the needs of the business
- Excellent communication skills for collaborative interaction with peers, managers, and business stakeholders
- Comfortable in direct client interactions, able to clearly and confidently articulate both challenges and solutions to non-technical clients
- Must enjoy and have experience working in a fast-paced environment, able to quickly realign with shifting priorities
