We are looking for a smart, multifaceted Solutions Consultant with experience in the Industrial/Consumer Electronics industry and with software implementation and adoption. The Solutions Consultant is responsible for proactively consulting, mentoring, and encouraging adoption of our products and services to a portfolio of automotive customers ensuring achievement of sustained value from Jama Software.

You’ll be working with your manager, our Manager of Solutions & Consulting, to achieve the goals of this vertical!

What You'll Do: 
  • Become a subject matter expert in Jama’s products and offerings 
  • Proactively lead multiple customer engagements; work directly with clients on how to align their process and Jama Connect to relevant system engineering methodologies 
  • Lead client working sessions to drive both process and technology decisions for how Jama Connect solutions will meet the client’s requirements, risk, and verification processes 
  • Deliver onsite and remote training of the Jama Connect solution to onboard new users 
  • Document and share best practice articles and enablement assets to scale our delivery maturity 
  • Identify and seek resolution of barriers that could inhibit end user adoption 
  • Assist Solution Lead in enhancing our industry solution offerings 
  • Work with Solution Lead and vertical sales leadership to drive industry business strategy 
  • Find and engage with engineering leaders responsible for process outcomes and help drive performance improvement through Jama Software’s products and solutions 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
What You'll Bring: 
  • 3-5+ years direct experience with requirements, test management, and agile software development 
  • Experience managing the deployment of SaaS software solutions to end-users with a particular view towards managing adoption milestones and identifying expansion opportunities 
  • Highly motivated and self-directed to own large portfolio of customer engagements  
  • Knowledge of system engineering, requirements management, test management, and agile software methodologies 
  • Excellent presentation, meeting facilitation, and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to seek out and build positive relationships with people at various levels and departments 
Nice to Have: 
  • Previous experience operating as a Systems Engineer, Requirements Manager, Product Manager, or Strategy Consultant 
  • Certification(s) in Project Management (PMP), Scaled Agile (SAFe), Associate or Certified Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP/CSEP) 
  • Experience facilitating process and quality maturity level evaluations for their customers 
  • Direct experience implementing Jama Connect at their organization
