The Solutions Enablement team aims to build effective, scalable, and cohesive HR solutions that minimize redundancy and deliver seamless data and insights for a better end-user experience. We partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to address business needs and provide harmonized technology, tools, and data that help COEs maximize their impact at GM.
The Solutions Consultant Leader for Talent Acquisition (TA) is a strategic partner responsible for driving the design, build, and rollout of integrated solutions that enable business outcomes. This role proactively identifies and shapes solution opportunities and ensures seamless delivery in partnership with the Implementation team and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Talent Acquisition in large, global organizations and demonstrate deep empathy for their complexity and demands. They will also be passionate about leading teams to deliver user-centric, data-informed solutions that drive enterprise value.

Team Leadership
- Build, lead, and develop a team of Solutions Consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
- Set clear goals, provide coaching and feedback, and support professional growth for team members
- Allocate resources to ensure optimal support and delivery
- Champion best practices in solution design, rollout, and stakeholder engagement across the team
Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for TA and HR leadership on TA solution enablement strategy and priorities
- Build strong relationships with TA leaders, IT, Purchasing, and other key stakeholders
- Facilitate alignment on business needs, solution roadmaps, and prioritization across the HR portfolio
- Represent the Solutions Enablement team in executive forums and cross-functional initiatives
Solution Strategy & Portfolio Management
- Set the vision and direction for solution enablement, ensuring alignment with HR and enterprise strategy
- Oversee the development and execution of solution roadmaps for TA, ensuring integration, scalability, and user-centricity
- Drive proactive identification of solution opportunities
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement
Solution Delivery & Governance
- Oversee the end-to-end solution buildout and facilitate rollout process, ensuring cross-functional alignment and timely delivery
- Ensure rigorous documentation of requirements, solution options, and decision rationale
- Ensure robust rollout and adoption plans for new solutions
- Monitor solution adoption, track key metrics, and drive accountability for business outcomes
- Lead governance processes for solution selection, sourcing, and vendor management
Sourcing, Procurement & Vendor Management
- Oversee sourcing and procurement activities for TA solutions, ensuring consistency and compliance
- Build and manage vendor relationships, including performance management and issue resolution
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, information systems, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in TA, TA technology, or business process consulting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience building and leading high-performing teams
- Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across functions
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and project portfolio management skills
- Deep understanding of HR technology, integration concepts, and data flows
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and change leadership abilities
