  • Technical Foundation: Possesses a strong background in technical or engineering disciplines, coupled with consulting experience, enabling them to speak to both technical and business audiences.

  • Organizational Acumen: Demonstrated success as a Solutions Consultant at both large, established software companies and smaller, fast-growing organizations or startups. This dual experience ensures an understanding of the rigor of enterprise sales as well as the agility required in a new company.

  • Preferred Company Background: Experience at companies such as Netsuite, Sage Intacct, or Workday is highly desirable to expedite onboarding.

  • Builder Mindset: A passion for building, being hands-on with the product, and designing custom solutions during the sales process.

  • Proactive & Autonomous: Must be a self-starter, highly autonomous, and possess a desire to actively "do the work" without requiring constant oversight.

  • Curiosity: A deeply curious mindset, always seeking to understand new customer challenges, product features, and market dynamics.

Location-Must be based in San Francisco (SF) or the greater Bay Area.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Solutions Consultant will be a critical part of the sales ecosystem, responsible for translating complex customer challenges into compelling solutions with the DOSS platform.

  • Strategic Sales Partnership: Collaborate closely with Account Executives as a technical co-pilot throughout the entire sales cycle, acting as the subject matter expert on the DOSS solution and its application to customer operations.

  • Vertical and Segment Focus: Spearhead solution-selling efforts within key verticals, primarily Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and Manufacturing, targeting mid-market companies with annual revenues between $50M and $500M.

  • Comprehensive Sales Cycle Support: Own the technical narrative from initial engagement through to successful handover, including:

    • Discovery: Conducting in-depth needs analysis to gain a profound understanding of the customer's current state (business, people, process, and technology).

    • Demonstration: Designing and delivering highly customized, value-driven product demonstrations that directly align DOSS’ adaptive ERP capabilities with the customer's strategic requirements and desired outcomes.

    • Implementation Hand-off: Ensuring a seamless transition into the implementation phase by thoroughly documenting the technical landscape and critical business requirements needed for a successful go-live and sustained value realization.
