Who we are:

The Solutions Consulting team works with commercial teams and dedicated Product/Solution Engineering (SE) leadership to design and develop bespoke solutions for clients. In this role, you’ll be accountable for identifying and delivering tailored solutions that drive revenue growth and deepen partnerships on strategic accounts. By working closely with the Business/Agency Development, Client Services, Product Management and SE teams, you will serve as the primary touch point between these groups and clients, extending The Trade Desk Platform to deliver incremental value that drives measurable business results for our clients. What you will be doing:

  • Articulate the value of TTD’s custom solutions capabilities to help our clients navigate and identify the right opportunities for development
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for JBP discussions involving custom solutions helping clients unlock incremental value in exchange for deeper investment with TTD
  • Act as a custom solutions advisor for internal business teams—redirecting standard API requests to core pods or TAMs and clearly delineating what falls under custom vs. standard offerings
  • Actively contribute to product development cycles by offering market and account insights, serving as the technical voice of the commercial and business teams
  • Participate in broader business team training around TTD custom solution capabilities so these opportunities can be better identified and escalated in the field by Core Business teams
  • Make a positive contribution to TTD company culture

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 8-12+ years of experience in an outbound technical sales or sales/solutions engineering role, ideally within AdTech or MarTech industries.
  • Proven ability to proactively consult and take a prescriptive approach with clients to achieve desired business outcomes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to speak with C-level clients
  • Proven ability to operate within a matrix environment & collaborate across multiple departments
  • Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising role – preferably a self-service DSP
  • Experience using tools that drive efficiency such as SQL, Python, and AI coding agents
  • Experience building longstanding, consultative client relationships
  • Experience managing longer sales cycles with many stakeholders
  • Experience in crafting and understanding Product Requirements Documentation
  • Strategic and analytical approach with a focus on building relationships with top tier clients
  • Desire to make a cultural impact and be an internal leader
