Remote – North America or LATAM | Full-Time | Canals AI
About CanalsCanals is a bootstrapped, profitable startup transforming wholesale distribution (a trillion-dollar industry) with AI. Our platform integrates seamlessly with the systems distributors already use, automating tedious tasks and reducing failure points in moving physical goods across the globe.
We’re a 55-person, fully remote team operating at millions in ARR and growing rapidly — all without outside funding.
We’re hiring a Solutions Engineer, helping distributors implement, integrate, and scale successfully on Canals. You’ll play a key role in onboarding new customers, ensuring their systems connect smoothly with our platform, and serving as a technical partner to Customer Success Managers post-launch.
This is a highly cross-functional role — part technical problem-solver, part educator, part process builder. You’ll work directly with customers to translate business needs into configuration and integration solutions, while also serving as a go-to product expert for our internal teams.
If you love APIs, databases, and the challenge of helping non-technical users unlock powerful tools, this role is for you.

Serve as a bridge between Product, CS, and Engineering — helping translate customer needs into actionable improvements.
Strong understanding of APIs and how they work.
Comfortable with SQL and basic database configurations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Experience in a customer-facing technical or implementation role.
Highly organized and collaborative; thrives in a cross-functional environment.

You’ve worked directly with APIs (testing endpoints, building integrations, or connecting systems).
You have project management experience — managing timelines and deliverables across multiple customers.
You’ve worked in early-stage startups and helped define technical processes from scratch.
You have experience supporting non-technical customers in complex operational industries (e.g., distribution, logistics, manufacturing).
Bootstrapped & profitable: Stability and autonomy — no fundraising distractions or shifting investor goals.
High impact: You’ll directly shape how distributors implement and scale AI across their operations.
Collaborative culture: Work with engineers, CSMs, and product leaders solving real industry problems.
Remote-first flexibility: Work anywhere in North or South America.
