About the Job

We are seeking a technically-minded, client-facing Solutions Engineer to join our United States Go-to-Market team. In this role, you will be the bridge between our enterprise clients and Xendit's product/engineering teams

You will partner directly with our Account Executives and Account Managers to drive the technical win in complex sales cycles. You will listen to client needs, architect payment solutions across Xendit's 7-market licensed infrastructure, and guide clients from initial technical discovery through to successful integration and launch. This is a Solutions Engineer (Presales) advisory role focused on deal velocity and technical credibility

Minimum Qualifications

Experience & Technical Background

  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing technical role, preferably in payments, fintech, or SaaS (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Integration Consultant).
  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and SDKs. You can read code samples and explain technical concepts to engineers—even if you don't code daily.
  • Familiarity with payment flows, acquiring, FX, and/or payouts is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with regional/global enterprise clients is essential.

Core Competencies

  • Technical Fluency: You bridge the gap between business and engineering. You can whiteboard a solution architecture, troubleshoot API calls, and translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Client-Facing Presence: You are comfortable presenting to CTOs and lead engineers, handling objections with confidence, and building trust with technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: You don't just answer questions—you uncover underlying needs and propose creative, compliant solutions across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel for client meetings and internal alignment.

Attributes We Value

  • Builder Mentality: You thrive in "zero-to-one" environments and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to solve ambiguous problems.
  • Curiosity: You constantly ask "why" and dig deep to understand client businesses, not just their technical requirements.
  • Humility & Collaboration: You know that the best solutions come from teamwork—internally with sales, product, and engineering, and externally with clients.
Responsibilities

1. Technical Pre-Sales Solution Design

  • Partner with the United States sales team to understand prospect needs and design tailored payment solutions leveraging Xendit's full product suite (acquiring, FX, payouts, stablecoin remittances).
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions with prospective clients (CTOs, Heads of Product, Lead Engineers) to map their infrastructure and identify integration requirements.
  • Architect solutions that address complex cross-border flows between regional/global and Southeast Asia, ensuring compliance and optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

2. RFP / RFI Support & Technical Documentation

  • Lead the technical response for RFPs and RFIs from regional/global enterprise clients
  • Prepare solution diagrams, integration guides, and technical proposal documents that clearly articulate Xendit's value proposition
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address technical and regulatory questions during the sales cycle

3. Proof of Concept (POC) & Integration Advisory

  • Scope and manage technical proof of concepts (POCs) for complex enterprise opportunities
  • Guide clients through sandbox testing and integration planning, reducing time-to-go-live
  • Act as the trusted technical advisor during the sales process, building confidence in Xendit's platform and capabilities

4. Voice of the Customer to Product

  • Capture and synthesize client feedback, technical requirements, and feature requests to share with Xendit's product and engineering teams
  • Stay ahead of competitor solutions and market trends regionally/globally - SEA payments corridor, providing insights to inform product roadmap decisions
  • Contribute to internal knowledge bases, playbooks, and enablement materials for the broader commercial team

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Account Executives to develop account strategies and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Partner with Customer Success and Integration teams to ensure smooth handoffs and long-term client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with global Pre-Sales peers to share best practices and scalable solution patterns

Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed!

Note on Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities outlined above reflect the current expectations for this role and are non-exhaustive. Xendit reserves the right to modify, adjust, or reassign operational duties as business and commercial needs evolve.

Compensation:

  • The base salary range for this position is $80,000–$130,000 and is determined based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, relevant skills, and industry knowledge.
  • Additional Compensation: This position may also be eligible for performance-based bonus plans.
