As a Solutions Engineer, you are a commercially minded technical specialist working as a strategic co-pilot alongside New Business Account Executives and Account Managers, with a primary focus on Mid-Market companies. Your primary mission is to drive revenue growth, accelerate deal velocity, and ensure technical win rates across active sales opportunities. You bridge the gap between complex technical capabilities and strategic business outcomes, translating Trustpilot's value proposition into compelling commercial solutions that instill technical confidence and convert prospects into long-term customers.  

What you'll be doing:

  • Commercial Discovery & Strategy: Partner closely with Account Executives to uncover high-value business challenges, identify key technical decision-makers, and map customer requirements to clear commercial outcomes. 
  • Value-Driven Demonstrations: Deliver tailored, highly engaging product demonstrations that highlight ROI, competitive differentiation, and business impact to align with client commercial goals.  
  • Solution Architecture & Revenue Generation: Design and present scalable solution architectures that solve key business pain points, drive expansion, and maximize Annual Contract Value (ACV).  
  • Proof-of-Concept & Trial Management: Lead focused pilot programs and evaluation trials to validate functional fit, remove technical objections, and secure technical wins efficiently. 
  • Sales Cycle Execution & Deal Enablement: Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process, actively removing technical friction and unblocking deals to accelerate closure. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams to ensure solution integrity and smooth handover.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain accurate documentation for proposed solutions and integration requirements.
  • Feedback Loop: Capture recurring customer feedback and insights to inform product.

Who you are:

  • Foundational knowledge or background in pre-sales, technical support, or customer facing technical roles, with a strong interest in SaaS environments
  • Solid commercial awareness and ability to connect technical features to business value and customer goals
  • Working knowledge of web technologies (APIs, JavaScript, SaaS integration) and aptitude for explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Eagerness to learn sales cycles and partner effectively with Account Executives in supporting active deal opportunities  
  • Strong teamwork skills and adaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment alongside Sales and Customer Success colleagues

  • A competitive base salary of $80,000-$93,000 gross per year, plus a competitive commission structure. The base salary range stated doesn't include any variable pay such as bonuses or commission or other benefits.
