We’re hiring a Solutions Engineer to help bring AllSpice to electronics teams at the most innovative hardware companies in the world. You’ll play a critical role in our go-to-market function, owning the technical side of the sales cycle and serving as a trusted advisor to hardware engineering leaders. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role that blends technical expertise with consultative selling.

What you’ll do

Customer discovery & technical sales

  • Run technical discovery sessions with prospects to uncover current-state workflows, pain points, and potential sources of inefficiency or risk.

  • Articulate the business value and ROI of AllSpice’s platform by mapping capabilities to customer needs and quantifying impact.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demos for potential and existing users, as well as management and company executives.

  • Travel up to 20% of the time for conferences, trade shows, and on-site customer presentations.

Evaluation design & trial management

  • Collaborate with Sales team to create compelling solution narratives and proof-of-value plans tailored to the buyer’s needs.

  • Lead pre-trial setup, including environment configuration and key integration walkthroughs, ensuring prospects are ready to evaluate.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor during evaluations and proof-of-concept phases, building strong rapport with technical stakeholders.

Internal enablement & technical content creation

  • Train and enable GTM team on product knowledge, technical personas, and how to identify customer pain points.

  • Build and maintain reusable demo environments, trial templates, competitive matrices, and technical sales assets.

  • Produce self-service materials (e.g. guides, comparison sheets, solution briefs) that help prospects accelerate decision-making.

  • Document discovery insights, competitive learnings, and trial outcomes to inform product and GTM strategy.

What we’re looking for
  • Prior experience in Applications, Solutions, or Sales Engineering.

  • Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or similar technical background is strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of electronics development cycles, PCB/schematic design, and the challenges faced by hardware companies.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, documenting and tracking deliverables to completion.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, effectively conveying new technical information, procedures, and recommendations.

  • Curiosity to learn, create, and propose new ideas.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in ambiguity and a high degree of accountability.

Bonus points
  • Experience using tools such as Allegro, OrCAD, Altium, KiCad, or similar ECAD tools.

  • Familiarity with Git workflows, commands, and clients, with experience using GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar platforms.

  • Experience in writing technical documentation and other collateral.

  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management software like PTC Windchill, Arena, or similar.

  • Firmware or software development experience.
